Chamonix New Year 2004
New year in Chamonix, France was superb. The slope preparation and infrastructure wasn't quite up to Swiss standards, but we were blessed with some great weather conditions and some amazing views!

Time to head down! Valmorel - Charles and Mark make a surprise visit to meet up with Monica at her ski lesson - and drag her kicking and screaming from the nursery slopes to her first proper slope. The green (easy) run was closed, so we didn't tell her that her first ever ski run would be a blue (moderate). The colour of the signs should have been a bit of a giveaway though...
